INSTRUCTION

Rates using Meadow Ridge horses:
35.00/hour for private lessons
55.00/hour for semi-private  (two people in one session)

Rates using your own horse:
25.00/hour for private lessons
35.00/hour for semi-private

Basic Beginner Riding Lessons

For the beginner, young or old, our instructors teach with emphasis on the Secure Seat Riding System through the American Association for Horsemanship Safety.

We recommend that your child is at least 8 years old for riding lessons. We have horses for lessons if you do not own a horse. 

All beginning students will learn the history and nature of the horse, how to handle the horse safely from the ground, how to put the tack on the horse, basic start/stop/steering, and sound principles of practice to gain a secure seat while learning to ride in their chosen discipline.

Intermediate and Advanced Lessons also available.
